Pay-per-view?!?

ok so we got UFC 81 today and my dad said that he bought the event when getting the cable box but when i looked in the history the UFC 81 event wasnt bought. so i bought it but then it turned out that i bought the countdown which is only 30 minutes but it costs $44.99. when i look on the guide both the countdown and event have a "$" by them and it wasnt there before. does this mean that i just bought the event or did i just screw my self and get 2 events (which would ******* cost me like $100)
