I am currently reading Camilla Lckberg's The Preacher and one of the storylines doesn't make sense?
On page 266 a new character is introduced, Kennedy Karlsson and it describes how his mother came to give him such an odd name. According to the text, his mother went to the United States in the 'mid-Thirties' and came back to Sweden pregnant with him. He was named after JFK as well. This is all fine, until we are told that Karlsson is a teenager in basically the present. Is this a typo? Or am I missing something, or perhaps I misread? Please help me, without any spoilers for the book as I am not finished yet.
