How does Oak Hill Academy produce so many fine NBA Players?
You are correct. They don't "recruit." Most times, more often then not, a kid doesn't even attend Oak Hill all four years. Usually when the hype surrounding them gets out, they wish to play for a Prep program, which Oak Hill has been for nearly 20 years. They get the national exposure as well, so all the chips fall in line. Oak Hill doesn't recruit you. You go there, because you want the attention. They transfer from their original HS usually in their Junior, a lot of times, just Senior year, to gain this exposure. Of course, not just anyone can go or walk onto the team. Consider Oak Hill, what it is, a preparatory basketball academy.
